25 Oct 09. The odd-semester exams have begun at the Under Graduate level; in fact, they are going to end on 31 October.
Post Graduate students (specially of Mass Communication – M.S. Communication/ MCMS) commence begin their odd semester (1 & 3rd) exams on 3 Nov. Once they finish their exams, the senior students will have three day intense workshop on creative softwares. After that, both the 1st &3 rd semester students travel for Hyderabad, Chennai, and Goa for Media Tour and International Film Festival (IFFI). They return, and – off to- internship in the field of their specialisation (like broadcast journalism or corporate communication). The first years will come back to begin their second semester – to feel the pulse of some of the specialisation areas like research, broadcast media, media management, and corporate communication! 01 December is their new semester beginning.
Under Graduate students begin their even semester in the third week of November.

Some M.Sc. courses will begin at the end of October.
20 Mar. 09. The second internals are over. Now the teachers are busy with answer scripts. Probably, it will be another week before the lecturers complete valuation and submit to the office

End semester exams for Undergraduates will commence in April. The university scheme will begin sometime in May. PGs will have their exams on 11th May.

15 Jan. For Journalism Students:

II & III Yrs: Your Question paper for the second term test (internal) will be out of (maximum) 50 marks .

* Essays 2/4 for 20 marks each = 40 marks

* Short notes 2/4 for 5 marks each = 10 marks

I Yrs (II Sem.) - I test: Max marks = 25.

There will not be regular pattern for the exam.
