Getting Ready for “Shooting”

21 Oct. As time flies by, a batch of students and a few professionals are getting ready, eagery awaiting for that moment to arrive.

Mr P.N. Ramachandra is due arrive on Sunday. Almost every arrangement is done; just waiting for Monday to arrive – and  that will set history in motion… history in sound and light … in digital form. History from a common person’s perspective…

Would you like to attend the informal, brief inaugural? But, be sure, you don’t miss the grand finale of the screening of the movies made by the participants. The finale is scheduled for Sunday (29) at 4.00 pm.

Graduation Evening at AICS & AIBA

21 Oct. As Deepavali was being celebrated around the nation, the 5th batch of MCA & maiden batch of MBA, St Aloysius College, Mangalore, celebrated their graduation from Aloysian Institute of Computer Sciences (AICS) and Aloysian Institute of Business Administration (AIBA).

We cannot compromise on principles and value system, said Justice (retd) Micheal Saldanha, the chief guest of the Graduation ceremony. He dwealt lengthily on the necessity for right people to occupy rightl places in the nationa’s development.

Mr Max Rasquinha, USA, congratulated the graduating students. He recalled how he grew up in great difficulty, putting his best foot forward. “We need faith,” he stressed. Faith is necessary to make progress.

Fr Francis Serrao, Rector, spoke ‘to the  soul’ of the students – what is that makes them Aloysians and their role as ex-Aloysian in the society’s growth.

Fr Denzil Lobo (Director, AICS & AIBA), Mrs Rasquinha, Mr Santhos REbello & Dr Paul Acquinas – the deans of AICS & AIBA, and the entire faculty was present on the dais.
