17 Sept. Finally I made it! A visit – guided tour- to the Bavaria Filmstadt (in simple terms: Bavaria Filmcity, Munich). And what more: a 4-D film! It was my deep desire to watch one; but a bad time of visit, and they refused to entertain my request (there was scheduled, though; but at a later stage by when I would have reached Munich). After the guided tour, I coaxed my uncle to give another try. This time he said, ‘now you go and ask!’ I did! After all, what could be the worst thing to happen? Just a curt no!? I am game to it! And went ahead!
Probably, this time the same people were better? Or was my zeal too obvious not to be missed? (Like the one at Nottingham Cricket Club, to see the cricket ground, on 30th August!?) Be that as it may; after listening to me, she contacted her higher authorities; he came; gave me an ear. Finally he said to her, ‘OK, give him a chance! Let him go!’ Wowww…
Bavaria Filmstadt is in Munich, on a sprawling piece of land. Probably (my guess) it MAY be smaller in area compared to Ramoji Rao Film City, Hyderbad, India. But in its quality, this is far superior! Absolutely stunning!
Then those action thrillers, crime movies, sports movies, ice-age films, etc!
Our chairs were shaking so hard that it felt even their safety bars were not good enough! Entire theatre was replete with screams and shouts and -of course- that funny, peals of laughter!
