Modi’s gift to workers on Workers’ Day 2015!
May 01 is known as May Day or Workers’ Day all over the world. This is to recognise dignity of labour and labourers. On such a day, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi strike hard on workers and their rights to please corporates and multinationals who paid for his mega-election rallies in 2013-14.
Karl Marks (why, even Charlie Chaplin) would have said, Workers of World, unite! But Modi seems to say, Workers of India, be damned! Don’t form unions, don’t agitate against unjust practices, don’t demand from your oppressive employers!
