Washington’s Milky Snoqualimie Water Falls

I spent the last Wednesday with my friend Alwyn and his family. Ever since he learnt that I was in Seattle, Alwyn’s has been a dear family to me.

Though Josy had an emergency duty that day and Alwyn his classes, Alwyn managed to take me to Snoqualmie Falls on the road to Seattle from Bellevue. It was half-an-hour’s drive from Bellevue.

That was the closest I have ever go to a water falls anytime! In India they don’t allow people to approach it so close because of security reasons. Here, we could simply walk past the hydropower plant – crossing the turbines, right up to the water falls (a few feet away from touching the milky downpour! Words are inadequate to express the joy and excitement of that moment!
