CBSE class 12 results 2016: 83.05 per cent students passed, 2.38 per cent higher than 2015

The notification also mentioned that the performance of girls have been better than boys. Pass percentage of girls is 88.58 per cent whereas pass percentage of boys is 78.85 per cent.

A total of 1,065,179 candidates were registered for the 2016 board examinations.

A notification released by the CBSE said, the pass percentage of 2016 is 83.05 per cent as compared to 82 per cent last year.
