Dr John Hall, a well-known and wealthy physician, married Susannah. He seemed to have used (thousands of plants and herbs) mentioned the Shakespearean plays, in his treatment of patient.
The snap here is of a painting framed in glass (so you see the reflected light). The scene is Grace before Meals. The family would gather to thank God for His gifts, and then eat their meals.
